The Role

We are looking for a People Business Partner to join us as we continue to grow a team of Bitcoiners at the top of their game. This role will focus on supporting current Swans and the core people functions for the organization during a significant growth phase. This role reports to the Head of People & Culture.

Your responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with business leaders to align People strategies with the overall business objectives of Swan. Engage directly with our managers and individual contributors to understand the needs of our unique employee population.
  • Talent Management: Support talent development, retention, and succession planning.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor, managing employee relations issues, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management processes, providing guidance on goal setting, feedback, and professional development.
  • Organizational Development: Lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning, and team development.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, proactively addressing compliance matters.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being of all Swans.
  • Start-up Agility: Thrive in a dynamic start-up environment, contributing to the growth and success of the company

Skills and experience that will help you succeed

  • Bitcoiner highly preferred
  • 6+ years of experience across HR functions, with a minimum of minimum 6 years experience as a Business Partner
  • Experience with a startup environment. Creative problem solver. Resourceful and self-motivated with a proven ability to work with evolving priorities.
  • Ability to effectively interface at all levels of the organization, demonstrating excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
